$350 · Horse boarding in Metchosin by Taylor beach

One paddock available Sept 1 3 Acre farm in Metchosin on Taylor Beach is looking for a 4th horse. Each horse has their own large dry paddock (gravel / sand) and covered feeding area with rubber mats. There is also a 60 foot sand round pen. The horses roam the paddocks all year and roam the fields from May until October. Board is $350 a month and covers 3 feedings a day of local hay. Owners supply other foods specific to their horse's taste buds. Boarders are required to pick up the manure in their respective paddock. There is a person at the farm that boarders can hire to pick up manure if they like. The horses love the place, the views of ocean, and the laid back relaxed atmosphere. In addition to work outs in the sand round pen you can ride your horse on the beach, ride them up to the Metchosin riding ring or take them along the goose (you can ride the goose from Taylor rd to Sooke) The paddocks are well designed for our rainy winters
