Home Share Coordinator

Community Living B.C. funded Home Share program provides adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities the opportunity to grow their independence, attain essential life skills, and become active members of their community. Home Share provider's work closely with their Home Share coordinator to deliver individualized care and provide an inclusive welcoming environment, this is more then an occupation, it's an ever-rewarding way of life. While every Home Share living situation is unique all allow the individual to feel supported, safe, and at home. We are looking to expand our Home Share provider team in providing support and housing to a young male adult. The preferable candidate will have: * Home in the West Shore area or in proximity. * Preferably a suite, if not a private living space within the home. * Extensive experience supporting youth and managing behavioral needs. * Have skills and experience providing support in areas such as living space maintenance, communication, and budgeting. Potential Home Share providers are required to undergo a screening process to assess their suitability for Home Share.
