Heavy Duty Steel Utility Stands This stand was originally made for working on engines (cars, motorcycles, boats, even small aircraft.) I have two of them for sale. The stands are made from ¼ inch thick welded steel, which I believe has a type of galvanized finish. They have been stored indoors and there is no rust. The main frame is 18 inch X 18 inch, with a top flange which is 22 x 22 inches. The height is 31 inches. There is an inside welded shelf which has a recessed section in the picture, The shelf is near the bottom. The flanges are pre-drilled for castors or for mounting to the floor, etc. as shown in the picture. The stands could be used for many purposes in a machine shop, or various types of manufacturing, or also in a home workshop. One stand is mounted on castors for easy rolling around a shop floor. The other one stands directly on the floor but castors can easily be mounted. The photo shows a large vise mounted on that one, but it isn't there.
