This is a fantastic bike. Handbuilt by Ross Shafer (owner of Salsa) in California in 1998 before they moved to overseas production, this bike is a collectible gem of a racing bike. Lightweight with a steel frame and high-quality componentry. This bike is a classic North American racing bike with a niche but passionate following https://forums.mtbr.com/vintage-retro-classic/official-salsa-thread-all-things-moto-376282-3.html 52mm frame. Fit's someone 5'5 to 5'8 ideally. This bike has served me, its the second owner, wonderfully since its purchase in 2007. With small modifications over the year such as replacing the fork with a lightweight Masi matching orange and yellow fork, and upgrading the derailers. There is some visible wear on the frame and derailer, but no mechanical problems with the bike. It was tuned up this month. Price reflects the marks and wear.
