Employment Opportunity Grounds/Turf worker Start date: Immediately Ardmore Golf Course is looking to grow their team. We are a year-round 9 hole golf facility that offers green fee play, full play membership, and corporate events. We are currently searching for a full-time team member to work on the maintenance/grounds/turf grass side of the operation. Duties: - Working directly for the Grounds Manager. Performing duties on the golf course that include but not limited to, cutting greens, fairways, tees and rough with walking and riding machines. Driving of Toro vehicles and golf carts. - Weeding, raking leaves/bunkers, repairing cart paths, light gardening, fertilizing, hand watering. - Garbage and recycling, emptying and sorting. - General clean up of debris, blowing off greens, and other projects such as wood working, painting, etc. Skills, experience, background: - Golf course or outdoor work experience an asset. - Hard working, punctual, good team player and personable. - Light lifting, working outdoors 12 months per year. - Organized, task oriented, and consistent worker. - Drivers license required. Wage and benefits include: - 40 hours per week. - $16-$17 per hour depending on experience. - Free golf privileges - Pro shop and food discounts.
