Glass art helper/apprentice Part time 20 - 25 hrs/week. Start at $15/hr Hours relatively flexible. We care more about how you work than when. You could schedule your work hours around other needs. This is a do everything job in a we all do everything shop. We all share in the fun jobs as well and the not so fun jobs. Our shop work includes stained glass, fusing glass, sandblasting and teaching. Especially teaching. We teach extensively online with ebooks, webinars and downloadable classes. Some of your job will be helping with experimental work pushing the boundaries of what can be done with glass art but also include packaging materials, making tools for sale to glass artisans and helping maintain our 4 websites and social media presence. Strong computer skills essential to help maintain our 4 websites, publish newsletters and maintain social media presence. Experience with web building programs like Dreamweaver and InDesign helpful. Glass experience not important. We can teach that. Positive attitude and willingness to learn is more important.
