Lot includes Shakesphere's Histories, John Milton's Paradise Lost, Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, and Nana by Emile Zola. Beautifully bound and decorated editions that are now Out of Print (OOP). Each book features raised spine hubs and gold stamping on the covers and spine, beautiful illustrations, sewn-in bookmark, gold gilt on the text block, silk moire endpages, and printed on fine quality paper. Very nice, near fine condition lot with the exception of a spot of gilt loss on the top edge of the Shakespeare's Histories volume and minor shelf wear. $115 firm. Sold as a Set.
