Early Childhood Educator

Cathedral School Childcare and Junior Kindergarten is accepting applications from qualified applicants to join our team of early learning enthusiasts at our Gordon Head location. This will be a temporary, almost full time position until July 2020. The position may be extended. The successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic about children's learning, creative, flexible and demonstrate a deep caring for all children. She or he will be a team player, who can learn from and share ideas with the rest of the ECE team. She or he is knowledgeable about positive behaviour support strategies, nature-based programming, and building positive long-term professional relationships. This position is for our Gordon Head location at 1806 San Juan Avenue in Victoria, BC. Requirements: Current Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) certification and License to Practice in BC Two exceptional work-related references A resume including a record of work, volunteer, and education history Copies of supporting documents and certificates, including Emergency Child Care First Aid The successful candidate will need to undergo a criminal record check for working with children and vulnerable adults.
