My grandmother's early 20th century tea wagon was produced in Grand Rapids, Michigan by the Paalman Furniture Company. Prior to founding his own company, Paalman was employed as a manager and designer at Stickley. It is made with quarter-sawn oak which was a design mainstay at Stickley for their Arts & Crafts Period, Mission era styled furniture. This antique teacart with removable glass tray could serve as a cocktail center for small home and apartment dwellers.
