We need a customer service specialist who answers the phone and emails to satisfy the needs of our customers where most are in North America and some in the rest of the world. Furthermore, you will be processing orders by entering them into a database and you keep customers informed about the status of their order. Except for some initial job training and periodic meetings in Sooke, you will be working from home. We will equip you with a computer and telephone as this is all you need to do your job. You have worked for a long time in the woodworking industry or you are a long time woodworking hobbyist. While you have experience in working with some related tools we offer on our website, you also have a full understanding of those you have not worked with yet. Furthermore, you are experienced with working on a computer. You don't need programming skills but you are comfortable with Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Access, Word, and Excel. (If you have no experience with Access but understand the other 3, you still qualify). You have excellent communication skills and while you don't need to compete with an experienced secretary, you are able to typewrite text in a reasonable time. You will need a dedicated room at home where you can do your job without interruption. Your main work hours are Monday to Friday from 7AM to 4PM where you need to be available on the phone.
