RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare corporate documents in connection with incorporations, amalgamations, continuations, capital alterations, share transfers, change of names, dividend and redemption documentation; * Draft and amend commercial leases; * Work proactively to support the practice; * Be prepared to help other team members as and when needed. QUALIFICATIONS * Honest, determined, accountable; * Proven work experience as a corporate and commercial legal assistant in a legal office with minimum 3 years' experience; * Attention to detail, dependability, and strong work ethic; * Ability to multi-task, take instruction, and follow through on assignments while being able to prioritize tasks; * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, EsiLaw 360, ALF * Strong written and oral communication skills; * Proactive; and * Keen to learn and grow on and off the job; * Committed for the long term.
