Computer Technician

Mother Computers is looking for a Computer Technician to work in a retail setting. This includes troubleshooting and repair of software, hardware, network and other issues for consumers and businesses. The candidate will also assist in the sales of new computers and peripheral hardware. Responsibilities: * In-Store Support includes greeting customers and checking in computer equipment for service. Ensure customer satisfaction, including taking ownership of open tickets and ensuring all service requests are repaired to the highest standard. Specific issues will be operating system upgrades, cleaning infected computers, hardware upgrades and general computer repair. * Deliver exceptional customer service including a passion to go above and beyond client expectations. * Provide Technical Support and Communicate effectively with clients gathering necessary information to resolve and/or facilitate resolutions for a wide range of issues. * Test, repair and/or replace computer systems, networks and related peripherals * Other duties as required Required Skills / Experience: * Familiar with computer software, hardware, operating systems, and manufacturer's tools used for testing and troubleshooting hardware * Adaptable and able to excel in an environment with multiple tasks that are constantly changing. * Belief in the company's overall vision and goals and a commitment to deliver on those values * Well presented in attitude, dress, and communication. Able to leave a lasting impression. * Must have 1+ years of computer hardware, service and repair experience * Must have good customer service skills * Must be able to speak and write English fluently * Must have a valid BC driver license * Must be familiar with all versions of Microsoft Windows and Office applications * Must be familiar with all types of Email infrastructures including POP3, IMAP, SMTP * Must be familiar with all Network technologies including switches and routers.
