Counselling couples, families, new immigrants/refugees, and related research * A master's degree or Ph.D. in the field of counselling, mental health or a related field with a desire to provide counselling and research services * Professional designation of R.C.C., C.C.C., or R.Psyc. * Fluency in English and a second language that would assist with refugees * Conduct initial interview for new clients, prepare case conceptualizations and implement treatment plans * Counsel clients, provide therapy and facilitate group sessions for refugees and new immigrants * Provide mindfulness/meditation services (NOTE: an established personal practice is necessary) * Liaise with community agencies or partners, identify additional or alternative services, and provide referrals * May provide public education and consultation to other professionals or groups regarding counselling services * May provide assessments for clinical diagnoses * Ability to conduct research, publish research papers, and articles (NOTE: an interest in Energy-Psychology and Consciousness-related research is important) * Desire to deliver presentations for allied health care professionals and possibly at conferences * Group therapy and workshop presentation skills * Some knowledge of the IFHP and related areas * Experience and understanding of the challenges faced by immigrants and refugees * Desire to participate in fundraising activities and/or community events Education requirements * Willingness to supervise other students/counsellors in the future * Conduct some basic aspects of vocational testing and/or psychometric assessment MANDATORY: Must be registered as a clinical counselor (RCC or CCC) or psychologist (RPsyc) Non-Seasonal Full-Time
