Certified BC English teacher available for tutoring. My goal is to help students of all ages improve in any of the following areas: * Analysis of text: identification of essential elements and meaning * Organization of ideas: listing, brainstorming and outlining * Production of text: sentence, paragraph, and essay construction, rough draft to final draft * Use of language: effective expression and communication of thoughts, ideas and information. Additional areas of focus: * Understanding and use of figurative language * Identifying key elements of plot * Cursive handwriting * English Conversation: for students working towards fluency in spoken English Zoom meetings are encouraged.
