Behaviour Interventionist - $20-$25/hr - Starts June 1

AABB Homecare Services Ltd. is a parent-value driven company that offers professionally coordinated in-home and community-based child-centred respite care, behavioural intervention, and homeschooling delivery for special needs families in the Greater Victoria BC area. We need BIs to work with our quickly growing clientele. The successful applicant and addition to our Company's team is at least 19 years of age, mature of mind, dedicated workers and committed to at least one year of employment with AABB Homecare Services Ltd. They have clear and current criminal record check for the vulnerable sector, are fiercely protective of client privacy, and have clear sense of their own self and their role. They communicate well with their managers, teammates, parents and children, and reliably complete shift data or pay entry daily. As our company's internal culture is to operate as a team with its members leading various responsibilities, we expect all Company employees to attend weekly staff gatherings that ensure operations run smoothly. We remain accountable to each other, parents and children, to achieve our Company's social-purpose enterprise goal to generate profits for redistribution to special needs community initiatives, families, and our employees. Team members are prompt, courteous, fun-loving, compassionate, respectful, honest and keen to learn and grow. A sense of humour, ability to be flexible, understanding, proactive, reliable and non-judgemental are a must. It is preferred that Team members have their own vehicle, valid driver's license, current first aid, non-violent crisis intervention or other behavioural intervention training or experience but we help develop skills as necessary. A strong work ethic, passion for the work and an open mind are the most important assets our team members bring.
