IDM Youth Services Inc. (IDMYS) strives to provide safe and stable homes for at risk youth while offering all inclusive care. We were established in 2010 with the opening of one residential location and three persons served, and today, we operate ten residential locations and upwards of twenty at risk youth. We are looking for dedicated, supportive, and compassionate people to join our dynamic and growing team of individuals who are committed to providing all inclusive care to at risk youth. Job Description What does an Assistant Manager do?  Providing an environment that is safe, comfortable, and homelike.  Attending to the daily functioning of the home, such as: cooking, cleaning, laundry, and driving.  Supporting the person served in attending appointments and/or school, day programs, work, etc.  Providing emotional and behavioural support when needed.  Encouraging positive community involvement when applicable.  Supporting the positive connections with family and friends when applicable.  Communicating with external stakeholders as needed.  Supervising and training employees.  Completing administrative tasks.  Potentially support a rotating on-call schedule.  Supervise the implementation of behavioural plans.  Ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
