Responsibilities will include all bookkeeping tasks including, but not limited to: * AirBnb, Etsy, Square etc. integration; * Online sales / booking setup; * Invoicing and online payment setup; * Weekly pick-up / drop -off of paperwork; * Online access to your accounts 24/7; * Full cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and account reconciliations; * Prepare all government remittances, including source deductions, GST, WCB, PST, Employer Health Tax and corporate tax installments; * Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reconciliations; * Research and resolve payment and expense discrepancies; * Assist with the year-end process; and * Other duties as assigned. Competencies: * Proficiency in Quickbooks and SAGE 50; * Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel; * Attention to detail; * Integrity and accountability; * Effectively communicates, both oral and written, with internal and external stakeholders. Experience: Rates are as follows: Hourly $40/hour Contractually - based on your company's specific needs. Software fees extra.
