Hourly Wage: $23.0326 - $26.8235 Location: Beckley Farm Lodge; Rest Haven Lodge Closing Date: open until filled Position #: need to fill 5 regular full time positions, as well 6 on-call positions Schedule: #108308 -- BFL, Set C, 8:00-4:00pm, 4 on: 2 off shift rotation, Adult Day Care #108323 - RHL, Set A, 12:30-8:30pm, 4 on: 2 off shift rotation, Adult Day Care #108324 - RHL, Set B, 1:30-9:30pm, 4 on: 2 off shift rotation, Adult Day Care #108325 - RHL, Set C, 2x12:30-8:30pm / 2x1:30-9:30pm 4 on: 2 off shift rotation, Adult Day Care 108290, RHL, Set C, 2x8:00-4:00 / 2x11:00-7:00pm, 4 on: 2 off shift rotation, Lodge Site Comp #: 2019-22 / -31A NOTE: Interviews will commence immediately Re-Post Date: 04Jun2019 QUALIFICATIONS: Education: * Graduation from a recognized Activation Certificate or Recreation & Leisure Program, OR; * 3rd or 4th year University Education in a relevant field; such as Recreation and Health; Kinesiology; Social Work; Child and Youth Studies; Mental Health; Education, OR; * Secondary school graduation supplemented by appropriate courses related to the duties to be performed, OR; * Graduation from an approved College or vocational Institution with an appropriate diploma or equivalent. Experience: * Related experience working with geriatric clients in a day program or community setting preferred * Knowledge of the therapeutic value of a particular activity * Work within an interdisciplinary team NOTES: In addition to screening for the regular full time positions needed, screening will also occur for approximately 6 people for auxiliary on-call.
