This is a unique Woodcut Lithograph Print engraving after Frans Huys Breugal , a re-engraved plate from from the original painting done in 1561~2 . Printed by the former Italian Publishing Company Ponte Vecchio in the 1930's , as an offset Lithograph , print # 4 . This was one of three works done by Pieter Bruegel the Elder , and one of his finest ~ and signed by him . Entitled 'At Anchor ' , it shows remarkable attention to detail , and is professionally framed and matted . Backed by a very early Victoria Colonist newspaper from the early 1900's , as proof of vintage . ~ offered here for $125.00
