JOB OPPORTUNITIES - AUXILIARY (This is a Union position) POSTING #2019-87A INSTRUCTORS - ICE SKATING/HOCKEY Oak Bay Recreation Centre _______________________________________________________________ We invite warm, energetic and committed individuals to apply for Ice Skating Instructor positions. Responsibilities: * Instructing children and adults of all ages and abilities to skate; * Working cohesively with other instructors in group settings; * Creating and following lesson plans and program schedules; * Establishing a friendly, safe atmosphere for all visitors to the Recreation Centre. Qualifications: * Experience with figure skating, ice skating, or hockey; * Experience teaching skating to children and adults; * Strong, confident skating and/or hockey skills; * Current CPR-C and Emergency First Aid certification; * Provision of a current police or RCMP Criminal Record check.
