271,000 km 2nd gen Manual 1.8 dual carb JHMAB5228GC809845 I am selling my beloved '86 Honda Prelude. This was my first car which I purchased in 2005 and it is still fun to drive with lots of pep. It was mostly a highway vehicle going to and from the airport up until 2013 and since then only goes out a few times a week. It has been maintained well and the body is in good shape save for a bit of rust. I am selling because I recently upgraded to a newer and larger vehicle. Pros - Manual transmission - Sunroof - ASA wheels - Clean interior, only wear and tear is on the driver's seat - Maintained well with regular oil changes and some other jobs, listed below - Alpine CD deck and all 4 speakers installed in 2006 (still sounds great) - Non-smoker/no pets - Fun to drive - New front and rear brakes - Tasteful spoiler Cons - A bit of rust, mainly around the rear wheel wells and sunroof (no leaks though) - The tail pipe has had some holes but they are currently patched - Heat adjustment does not have full range of movement. Might be an easy fix but I didn't find it a problem - Passenger window requires "finesse" to roll down/up Work done since I have had it: - New clutch installed in 2010 at 213,193 kms along with one CV boot - Muffler replaced in 2010 - Ignition coil in 2013 - Distributor cap, rotor, plugs done in 2016 at 229,659 kms - Just replaced the front brake pads. Will have new rear brake shoes installed for the new owner - Regular oil changes $1400 open to offers
