$500 · 1979/80 Montreal Canadiens TEAM SIGNED Pennant

FANTASTIC item that could truly be one of a kind! Signed by 28 players, coaches, etc. including numerous hall of famers! Includes Hector "Toe" Blake (Deceased hall of famer), Guy Lafleur, Bob Gainey, Larry Robinson, Claude Ruel, Pierre Larouche, Rejean Houle, Mario Tremblay, Doug Risebrough, Steve Shutt, Mark Napier, Denis Heron, Dick Irvin, Guy Lapointe, Serge Savard, Chris Nilan, Michel Laroque, Doug Jarvis, Rod Langway, Brian Engblom, Rick Chartraw, Pierre Moudou, Yvon Lambert, Keith Acton, etc. The signatures are all in blue ball point pen (one is in red). There are pin holes in the corners and along the red bar on the fat end. It does have a slight yellowing along the top and bottom which looks MUCH worse in the photo then it really is. Some of the signatures are a little faded. I can send a close scan of any section(s) of the pennant upon request. This is a pennant signed by the entire, or virtually the entire, team......how many of these could exist?? Certainly much rarer than the equivalent in a team signed major league baseball! NOTE: I got this pennant and all other signed hockey pennants I currently have listed signed in person and guarantee their authenticity. I used to know the Vancouver Canucks trainers and equipment men and had access to the dressing room area on morning of the games for the team skate/practices which is where I got all the pennants signed in the late 1970's through the 1980's. The pennants usually include the coach's signature as well. ALSO....for every signed pennant I have written the name of the player or coach on the back, directly underneath each signature. I did this back when I got them signed (great thinking if I do say so myself!). So, no need to spend hours trying to figure out all the signatures....they are all identified! I also noted the year neatly on each pennant, normally on the front.
