2021 Rocky Mountain Edge 16 in LA Purple and Yellow. After 9 months of riding this bike, the day has come where my daughter has started riding her brother's 20" - 7-speed and has not looked back to the stable at her purple monster, and now the search for another little shredder who will enjoy this bike just as much has begun. I have been more impressed by the weight to wheel size ratio with this Edge than any other bike the kids have ridden. At 6.8kg/15.1lbs this 16" weighed less then her previous 14" and was capable of doing a trip to Hornby Island and Mt. Tzu in Duncan. This bike has given my daughter oodles of confidence with its monster truck like tires and weight where she was able to pop up her front tire when approaching larger bumps on the trail. There are some cosmetic paint scratches and scuffs that come with the territory of a bike that has actually seen some trail use. Rocky Mountain even put a grip under the seat if you, the parental unit, has to carry the bike or steady your little shredder before they drop into the trail.
