
This is a set of (2) Inuit stone carvings done by Timothy Assappa (1914-1982) E9-811 Timothy lived and carved in a community called Puvirnituq in Northern Quebec. Beautiful little pieces of mid century Canadian Inuit art. His works are in the Musee de la Civilization, Quebec City - Quebec, the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, Banff - Alberta and the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Winnipeg - Manitoba. A great addition to any First Nations Collection.
