Request more information Kuroda’s works are a delightful depiction of the hustle and bustle of modern city living. People are walking, umbrellas bobbing, and bicycles flying. Many of his pieces are monochromatic etchings, although recently many of them have subtle collaborations. Kuroda was just a young artist, but already he has had major exhibitions in Tokyo, Boston, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, and Ottawa. He was also awarded a prize of excellence at a showing of Japanese prints in Tokyo in 1979. I purchased a series of “Hanga” Contemporary Japanese Prints from The Marshall Gallery of Fine Art (now closed). I am downsizing! This print must be seen to be appreciated.
