This is a collection of 48 B&W 8"x10" original photographs taken of the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps (RCOC) in and around Ottawa during WW2. Included in the 48 photos are 7 duplicates and 4 wedding photos of servicemen. None of the photos have notations on the back. Some of my favourite photos are shown in the image above. The other photographs include shots taken of RCOC members both inside the headquarters and in and around Ottawa. There are a few pictures a children's Christmas party hosted by the RCOC and a good number of a raucous party, quite possibly celebrating VE day. The photographer (who I knew growing up) began taking photos as a teenager in the 1930's and continued to do so throughout his life. He served as a photographer in the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps during the Second World War. The edges of most of the photographs have curled slightly as can be seen in the photograph above. There may be one or two with small folds in a corner but overall the photographs are in very nice condition. The photos have been together since 1945 and so I am selling them as a lot.
