Scammer be careful

I am a student at Camosun College taking Automotive. I was looking for a cheap engine hoist for one of my projects. I found a hoist on Used Victoria and took the time in the evening to go to the address of 2011 Courser Dr, which is 40 minutes away from Oak Bay at 6:30. I sent the money to him via Etransfer and asked for a hoist bar to load into the car, but he said there was none and you didn't ask. He then said you can replace it with a steel bar and It's absurd, so I then just asked for my money back, saying I won't buy it. He next said he doesnt know how to etransfer. Then, when I asked for money, he asked me to go to his house because he wasn't there and this was my mother's house. I followed him for 5 minutes and waited in front of the house. It was cold outside. I called, texted, and waited 30 minutes. Now that he texted me “has no been money, he girl friend when she coming her money send money , he says im an honest man and dont worry He told me to go home first. He has blocked me on all accounts and has ignored all of my messages. I then looked again on the marketplace and found that he has made a new ad for this same hoist that I paid for and did not get my money once I didn't want it.
