This Victoria-era heavy black cast iron coal/wood fire stove/insert was manufactured in France, and has Paris written on its nickel-plated trim. The door to its fire box has mica in small panes on its front. It works with both coal and wood. It likely was used in a small parlour or boudoir. Even if not ever hooked up for heat, it is a beautiful addition to an older heritage room. Dimensions are 24" x 15" x 32".
