Beautiful Lakeside reed or pump organ. From sometime in the late 1800's. Solid hardwood construction oak or walnut. Made by the Lakeside piano company who made quality instruments in Chicago from the late 1880's to the early 1900's. Would make a great players piece or centerpiece for a room. Sounds amazing with lots of punch and volume. Lots of reed options for different tones and color. Funnily enough it's tuned almost a semitone low- a C rings somewhere in between a B and a C. It plays and intonates well with itself though, and it's fine if you're playing with strings that don't mind tuning down. Its well used, but it's in great shape for the age. Incredible workmanship. Could use a bit of a shine if you were using it as furniture. Make an offer- it’s hard to place a value on these old things. Only selling as we are moving and don’t have space. See less
