$1,500 · Motorized Stair Lift (Handicare Xclusive)

It's not great when you need a lift to navigate stairs, but this proved to be a perfect solution prior to a hip replacement. We no longer need it, and now it can provide the same service for someone else. It is for a straight run over 11 stairs, not counting the bottom floor and top floor. It is in near new condition and works flawlessly using the controls on the seat arm or either of the remote controls (one placed at the top of the stairs, one at the bottom). You can see lots of photos and technical info by searching for this make and model online. It took me a couple of hours to install, primarily because I wanted the power wires hidden rather than simply plugging it in to a nearby outlet. Because it's disassembled I've shown images from Handicare's promotional material. This unit was built in 2019. Currently a medical mobility outlet in Mississauga, Ontario advertises a Model 1000 at $4600 and a Model 1100 at $3800, presumably plus taxes. I can deliver it and help with installation.
