Liquor Store Clerk

Thrifty Foods Liquor Mill Bay is seeking a Retail Liquor Team Member! This is a part-time position with the opportunity for advancement. We have an immediate opportunity for a customer driven, community engaged and results oriented individual to join our team as a Liquor Clerk. This role is critical to providing a superior shopping experience by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic, solution focused and knowledgeable approach. Ensuring stock is replenished on shelves, process sales at the register and adhering to all Liquor policies and procedures are critical to success in this position. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Welcome and educate customers as they enter the store. Experience providing exceptional service. Explain and answer customer questions about products. Process customer purchases. Strong desire to learn new skills. Efficiently and accurately perform all job duties in a timely manner. Maintain clean job area and a positive store environment. Ability to work with various levels of management in the store. Maintain a positive attitude and work with a team of associates in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow procedures and policies regarding the sale of Liquor. Willing to support other teammates. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., be able to walk or stand for long periods of time on your feet.
