House Cleaner

Look no further – we're hiring at GrimeStoppers Eco-Cleaning! As this is a newer cleaning company, we aren't yet able to guarantee hours. But there is an opportunity for this to turn into a full-time permanent position if that is preferred. A three-month probationary period is in place to foster mutual success and growth. Duties: - Perform residential cleaning tasks in accordance with company standards and client preferences - Dust and polish furniture, surfaces, and fixtures - Vacuum and mop floors - Empty trash and dispose of waste - Light organization of items in all rooms - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas Kitchen: clean sink out, fill dishwasher if empty, sanitize and wash all counter tops, stove top, and outside of large appliances. Sometimes cleaning of fridge, oven, cabinets, dishes, etc. Bathroom: clean and sanitize toilet, full bathtub/shower, and vanity including faucet, drain, and mirror. Bedroom: make bed, dust and sanitize shelving, nightstands, and bed frames. Requirements: - 1 year previous experience in residential cleaning or hospitality, including a reference - Reliable vehicle - Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks - Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner - Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain cleanliness standards - Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients - Ability to use company scheduling software to manage your own availability **Please note that a lot of the Deep cleans or Move-out cleans that we offer can be quite dirty. Because of this we require someone with the capability and willingness of tackling dirty or cluttered homes. Some things to note: - We offer a fair wage to compensate for KM's driven to/from jobs. All jobs we accept are within the Greater Victoria area and are a minimum of 2-hours. - Note that we are only hiring someone who currently resides in Victoria. A background check is required from your local police department that you will be reimbursed for. Please be prepared to provide a reference of a cleaning company you have worked for a minimum of one year.
