$300 · eBike - needs battery work done

This one-owner Prodeco Stride 500 ebike was purchased new in 2013, is in good condition mechanically and has been well maintained. However, the batteries have nearly reached their lifetime and are not holding a charge very well (the inevitable fate of all eBikes!) thus they need to be refurbished. A web search will turn up several companies which specialize in this service, here and on the lower mainland. Or, someone adept at electronics might try rebuilding the batteries themselves. Buyer to purchase as is. The price reflects the very good mechanical condition of the bike itself, as well as what it costs to buy a good new eBike - around $3000+. Included is an extra rear wheel with 500w motor (wheel is missing two spokes), an extra motor controller, as well as the second battery. Parts which have been replaced during ownership include the front brake rotor, brake pads, the gear cluster, the chain, derailleur, and of course tires and tubes as needed. A carrier for saddlebags, fenders, bell, and mirror were added also. The bike came with a 9Ah 38.4v LiFePO4 battery (lithium iron phosphate). We bought an extra 16Ah 38.4 LiFePO4 battery about five years ago. Both batteries could benefit from cell replacement (I note at least one person on UsedVictoria who advertises such services, plus other companies which specialize in such a service.)
