Alpinestars Valparaiso Drystar Suit - Jacket and Pants Jacket Size 2XL Pants Size XL The piece can be used independently or there is a full waist zipper to attach them together as a suit. There is some general sun fading and wear on the Drystar liner at the wrist and ankle cuffs where boots and gloves rub so I believe it is priced accordingly. Otherwise there all seems are intact, all zippers and closers are working and there are no scuff marks. There is plenty of life left. . The jacket is a 4-in-1 style that is made up of an outer shell, a removable waterproof Drystar liner and a removable insulated liner that allows the rider to tune the jacket to a wide range of riding climates. The outer shell has all the right touring ingredients, including direct venting, reflective areas, volume adjustments and plenty of pockets. The venting on the outer shell is extensive, with two large chest panels, two large arm vents and a huge back panel that will keep air moving through the entire jacket. The breathable, waterproof Drystar membrane can be zipped out and stowed in warm weather or for use with the thermal liner only. The thermal liner has 60oz of insulation that, when coupled with the waterproof membrane, are ready for the coldest rides. For impact protection, the Valparaiso has CE approved Bioarmor at the shoulders, elbows back and chest. A super plush (and removable) 180g thermal liner will keep the icy chill at bay while a completely waterproof Drystar liner keeps you dry. Should the mercury rise, you can remove both liners, zip open a bunch of vents, and let the air flow. Lightweight and comfortable Bio-Armor will keep your kneecaps and hips looking like they should, while a suite of reflective detailing will make sure you remain upright.
