jamo model 38 2 -way bookshelf speakers in cherry veneer with black baffles made in Denmark. jamo is pronounced ya-mo and was named after the last names of the 2 founders, Preben Jacobsen and Julius Mortensen. These were hand made in Denmark before jamo was bought by Klipsch in 2005 and speaker production moved to China to save money. The original retail in Canada was $600 in 1999, now about $1000 with inflation. Excellent clear treble and tight bass, because these have no crossover. The tweeter and woofer get the full range signal with just a frequency cap on each so they only play the frequencies they are meant to. The bass port is at the front so you can place them against a wall without affecting the bass response. Height 32cm Width 21cm Depth 21cm The top of one speaker has blemishes in the cherry vinyl. You might be able to smooth it out by removing the baffle and tightening it or by using a heat gun to shrink it. It obviously doesn't affect the sound. Binding posts take bare wire or banana plug and spade connectors. Only includes 1 cloth grille. The other grille is missing unfortunately. Grille not shown in photos.
