Surveyor

We are immediately seeking a Surveyor to join our field and office Teams. Duties: Managing and performing all Survey tasks as they relate to the position. Interpreting engineered and construction drawings. Liaising with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, Contractors, Owners, and Engineers. Determining precise locations using both GPS and Robotic Survey Equipment. Use of Leica Icon Survey System. (Preferred). Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What were looking for: 5+ years of related survey experience (sewer and water, plus roadbuilding experience an asset). Proficient in both written and verbal English, with the ability to undertake moderately complex technical correspondence and conversations, as well as to provide clear information to project members. Adept at multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, as well as working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Comprehensive knowledge of surveying equipment and instruments, and Geodetic Coordinate Systems. Detailed oriented with the ability to read and comprehend construction plans and keep redline on a project. Collaboratively work with different Team members. Able to lift 50lbs and willing to work outdoor in all weather conditions. Be self-driven and able to work independently in the field. Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
