Medical Ophthalmology Office MOA

Specialist's office in Saanich seeking MOA for fast-paced, high volume clinic. Prior experience, as well as knowledge of EMR (specifically Accuro) and medical terminology, are definite assets. However, we're happy to train for the right candidate. We're looking for an energetic individual with demonstrated time management ability and a high sense of confidence in their communication skills and independent work. You will be granted a lot of autonomy and often act as the face of the doctor, so decision-making is a must. Tasks include: reception duties for a (very!) busy front desk and phone line, patient intake as well as follow-up, processing and triaging referrals, and other clerical/data entry work. With time and experience, the scope of the job may expand to include technician and diagnostic work. Full time, wage dependent on experience.
