This fibreglass boat is one of best long distance kayaks ever designed. Mike Neckar’s design character makes the Arluk III extremely sea worthy, when the weather gets rough this boat shines. Large amount of storage everywhere: large capacity holds fore & aft, plus behind seat. Rudder with foot control. This Arluk is very fast with good secondary stability. SPECS weight 57 lbs length 18 ft depth 12″ width 23″ Best for a paddler less than 5 ft 10” (my shoes are size 10 and will not fit in the low profile cockpit. Intermediate and beyond skill recommended; rolls beautifully; this is too much boat to for a beginner! Bow & stern hatch covers: neoprenes good, fibreglass covers are beefy! Although a 1990 edition, it has been completely unrigged; new hull coating; cleaned and buffed deck to a green sports car shine; all rigging renewed.
