What we are looking for: • Basic Math skills. High School Diploma preferred • Basic English skills, written and verbal • Fundamental computer skills (typing, using a mouse, recognize icons, open-save-delete documents) • Warehouse experience • Knowledge of computer applications is desirable. Who you are: • A dedicated and reliable Material Handler who is able to setup, operate and monitor machines – will receive training • You excel at maintaining accurate production records. • You take pride in inspecting and arranging product as it moves off the production line. • You follow end of day cleaning routine and ensure the work area is ready for the morning shift. • You perform quality control inspection and package finished product. • You follow required procedures and Health & Safety requirements. • You are punctual and dependable. • You complete other duties as assigned related to the packaging department How you will thrive and create an impact: • This is a multi-functional roll, working both in the packaging department and the shipping/receiving of finished goods. • Perform assembly of products in accordance to written production records while observing appropriate safety guidelines. • Perform activities in controlled environment, while assuring the use of appropriate PPE equipment. • Operation of equipment, including safety procedures and proper handling of materials. • Excellent work ethics. • Verifying shipping and receiving documentation Why Avantor?
