When we relaunched Hendra Moving and Storage in 2007, it was a family company and it was important to us that it stayed that way. There was a rich history of customers and their moves to, from and within Victoria. We were excited to become a part of that history, celebrate it, and take it to the next level. Over the years, we’ve seen our moving and storage business grow as we attract and serve more customers the way we would want to be served ourselves. We are growing again and in need of Drivers; personable and enthusiastic. The right candidate Driver Duties & Responsibilities: • Represent Hendra Moving & Storage in a friendly & professional manner by being respectful, helpful, and accommodating towards our clients, their homes & belongings. • Safe driving practices and performing daily truck inspections. • Ability to use GPS and track truck’s movements. • Checking Fuel & cleaning up truck at the end of the day. • Understand and abide by company policies and procedures. • Assemble & disassemble items, Wrap & Unwrap furniture as needed. • Load and unload the moving truck. • Move all items without damage to the items or home. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities • Fast-paced environment • Good Hand-eye co-ordination • Work under pressure Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Class 5, Class 3, or Class 1 with a clean Driver’s Abstract. • Moving experience preferred, but not required • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis throughout the day. • Punctual, Reliable, Team-player with focus on customer service.
