Tow Truck Driver

Victoria’s premier Towing Service is looking for drivers who want to work in A family oriented, fast growing environment. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team of dedicated service providers. Currently looking for Night Shift. Duties: • Driving and operating a service, single axle Tow Truck or flat deck vehicle for loading/towing vehicles • Respond to various calls, including basic tows, police tows, accidents & recoveries, jump starts, unlocks, and fuel deliveries, etc. • Interact and communicate with customers & dispatch in a courteous and respectful manner building relationships and trust. • Connecting/attaching a vehicle to the tow truck and transporting (this may include using a chain, winch, steering locks, and other devices as well as fixing lights onto the towed vehicle. • Write up reports of service; accept payment by cash, credit cards and on account. • Completion of daily paperwork (trip logs, payment receipts, pre/post inspections, etc. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to work various shifts or on call schedules as needed • Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to work in inclement weather. • Must be able to work in high volume traffic conditions Must be able to pass criminal record check, be bondable and 19 yrs. old No experience necessary will train right person. Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $15.20 per hour PLUS commission and tips
