$20 · LABOURER + DELIVERY SWAMPER - Capital Iron Downtown Victoria

Capital Iron Downtown Victoria is currently seeking physically fit and capable individuals for part time, seasonal Labourer and Delivery Swamper positions. All candidates must have steel-toed work boots for the job. A dynamic and cheerful personality who works well with others, but also has the ability to take initiative and work independently is required. You will be dependable, and demonstrate reliable performance in a team environment. Frequently, these positions require lifting and carrying heavy merchandise (75+ lbs), loading and unloading delivery trucks, unloading product from shipping containers, moving stock to storage areas and picking and packing customer orders; these duties require a person with above average strength and stamina. The Labourer position also fills in for delivery truck Swamper duty when required. Typically Swamper shifts require early morning starts and can run longer than a standard 8 hour work day. These positions requires consistent weekend shifts; applicants must be available and willing to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and/or Holidays. Current store hours are Mondays to Saturdays 10am to 6pm and Sundays and Holidays 10am to 5pm. *Please Note: Due to the nature of this position, candidates are required to be fully vaccinated. Proof of Vaccination will be required prior to hiring. Masks should be worn in the delivery truck and within customer's homes. Starting Wage: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
