The QX4 is essentially a Pathfinder on steroids. Though it has the legendary Nissan toughness, it also sports a vast array of luxuries that far eclipsed the luxury edition of the Toyota 4runner. Highlights include: electric sunroof, supple dual power heated leather seats, climate-control airconditioning, electric antenna, Bose sound system (sounds great!!), pushbutton 4x4 on demand (it works!), fold flat rear cargo area, factory roof rack and much more. Runs like a dream. The motor purrs, and the transmission shifts gears like Connor McDavid. Having said all that, it's a 21 year old SUV, so there are a few flaws in its splendor: - small split in rear plastic bumper cover (see pic) - bit of rust at the very front of the left front fender - some sway bar link clunking when going over potholes or bumps On the plus side, it has relatively decent kms. for the year, relatively little rust, the a/c blows frigid, and pretty much everything works the way it is supposed to. It's a very attractive, trustworthy SUV, and attractively priced for import 4x4's in the 2000-3000 dollar range.
