These beautiful antique mid-century modern speakers deserve a home where there's room to put them on full display. Given the wonderful condition they are in, I wouldn't be surprised if they still work. A little internet research will show what kind of amp they require - they were used with Philco models H-1814, H-1816, and H-1916 consoles. The full schematic can be found in Sam's Photofact 484-14. Final pic is an example of the Philco consoles they came with. Note the connectors - these will NOT work with just "any" tube amp, not even any vintage tube amp - they require very specific voltages, it it is not a matter of some wire splicing - at all. See "Website Link" for some idea the work involved. Magazine advertisement is included - never got around to framing it as I never had a good place to display the speakers. See my other ad for (working) 1958 Fisher tube preamplifier - would make a nice set for display, to say the least. Have a mid century modern chair to go with it all if you need one - price negotiable - but it's the most comfortable chair you'll ever sit in.
