This Thames/Anglia van was sold new in Canada and is believed to have spent most of its life in the mountain foot- hills of south-west Alberta. It is an export model and has the steering on the left side. It is not rusted, but has sufferd a couple of bumps, one on the back doors and one on the rear right side. The metal is good and it does not need to have any replacement panels. The motor is the side valve type and the transmission is a manual stick shift. The van is an uprated derivative of the 1959 Anglia car and is described as having a 7 CWT capacity, which means that it is built to carry 7 X 112 lbs ( 7841bs) , not to be confused with the 5cwt model. The odometer says 38000 miles, and that is credible. The engine turns over nicely but it has not been run for five years and will need refreshing . A box of new and used ENFO parts come with the van and there is a new never used windshield ready to be installed. The original upholstery on the seats is in good condition. This is an excellent restoration project, and it has been suggested that it might easily be converted to electric drive
