Interested in Sailing? Don’t want the expense of owning your own boat? Become a member of the: WARM LAND SAILING ASSOCIATION Genoa Bay, BC. The Warm Land Sailing Association is a not-for-profit, member-funded society (S0069528) registered in the Province of British Columbia. Our goal is to promote the sport of sailing by making it fun and affordable while avoiding the high costs associated with purchasing, maintaining, and mooring your own boat.​ The WLSA currently owns two sailing sloops; Blue Belle (30ft C&C) and Kitkatla (31ft Hunter). Both vessels are moored at Genoa Bay Marina - www.genoabaymarina.com - affording easy access to Cowichan Bay and the Gulf Islands. There is a one-time cost for membership. That cost is currently set at $4000. Membership fees are used to purchase and refit vessels. Individual memberships can be sold by, or on behalf of, a member leaving the club. Sorry, pets are not allowed onboard WLSA vessels. Monthly fees are used to cover moorage, insurance, plus annual maintenance and repair items. Fees are set by the members at our Annual General Meeting. The current monthly fee is $125.
