Private room furnished with queen bed, wardrobe, and nightstand available for rent May 15 or June 1 (flexible on move-in date). New building with amenities including in-suite laundry, heat pump, gym (completion in May), bike storage (completion in May), EV charging stations, rooftop patio, and a community garden. You will be sharing the common space with me, a 28 year old female, and my two cats. I work full-time at VGH, and in my spare time I enjoy playing board games/cards, watching TV, and going on walks. While I understand the need for time alone and respect privacy, I am generally very outgoing and am looking for a roommate who would be interested in spending time together as I get a lot of value from having a friendly relationship with roomies. I am looking for a roommate who is friendly, tidy, and enjoys having animals around. Unfortunately the strata rules have a maximum of 2 animals per unit, so no more furry friends are allowed :(. While I enjoy hosting friends for small get togethers and games nights, the place is not suitable for parties. Rent is $1100/month all inclusive (wifi, hydro). I can source a parking spot for another $50/month if needed. Hoping for a shorter term lease (4-6 months) with the option of extending if it's a good fit!
