$1,050 · Beautiful character house to share with one other

Hey folks! Looking for a roomie to share this special home with come fall. It's a three bedroom main floor apartment, shared between two people, with an office/spare room! I’ve been here for 4 years and this wonderful home, as well as the landlords, have been really good to me. I’m a friendly, community oriented, stable, meditating and yogaing, calm, yet quirky 42 year old who enjoys living with others and having time to myself, sharing awesome meals, playing music together, hosting movie projector nights and sharing stories with those around me. I’m searching for (and offer myself as) a clean, friendly, and reliable roommate who is skilled at living with others, offers great communication and conflict resolution skills, and planning to live in Victoria for a while. I’m hoping to co-create a respectful and solid living environment where we are both mindful, accountable and strive to cultivate a harmonious living environment. It’s a three bedroom main floor apartment of a triplex, and the rent includes access to the third room as an office, yoga room, and (if available) a spare room for short term visitors, would be great for a student or someone who occasionally works from home! It is located in Oaklands, just 5 mins walk to Jubilee hospital and Camosun Lansdowne campus, and 15 minutes biking to downtown and UVIC. There’s a huge backyard, large basement with storage and coin laundry, a large cozy living room, a huge clawfoot tub, a cute balcony for eating dinner and hosting guests and free, unlimited street parking. Internet is provided by the landlord (tho not always reliable, so you may wish to get better internet). Rent is $1050, which includes internet and other house expenses, but heat and hydro are not included and billed bi-monthly. Open to a November or December move in. Unfortunately no couples, smokers or pets (with the exception of non furries ie. fish, lizards etc.) Also, I am often at my partner’s house on weekends, so you will have the space to yourself a bunch, well, you and my sweet lizards who would be your best friends if you drop them some wormies ;) If you’re interested in inquiring about the room, and you’d like to meet before giving notice at your current place, please respond with the following so that I can get to know you better and feel into whether or not we’d be a good fit!
