Room for rent in Gordon Head close to University heights and UVic. Rent is $650 a month plus utilities split between all tenants. Move in available August 1st. Lease is flexible and can be negotiated each month, so this is a perfect situation for students or others looking for shorter-term renting, but longer stays are welcome too. The tenants are all students or work day jobs, and we are a fairly quiet and relaxed group. We are looking for someone who has a similar schedule and values. Amenities include: -Laundry in house. -Kitchen with personal space for each tenant in the fridge and freezer, as well as personal cupboard space. Dishes for cooking and eating are included. -A large upper and lower deck outside, and spacious front and back yard. -Lots of storage space for anything needing to be kept long term. -Parking space in the driveway. -Bus stop that can bring you downtown in 15-20 minutes. -Close by shopping plaza. Has a few restaurants, a 7-11, a great Mediterranean Deli and Mt. Douglas Market, which has surprisingly good prices for a small local store (their fruit prices blow save-on out of the water, for example). -A nice living room with a pool table upstairs, and a rec room downstairs with a pull-out couch for visiting friends. Tenants all share chore responsibilities, and strive to maintain a respectfu and laid-back atmosphere. It should be noted that we generally sign for a couple months to start, and during this period see if a new tenant fits in with everyone. Along with the tenancy agreement, a set of house rules will be signed, and act as an addendum to the contract.
