Come join our exciting and growing team! We are seeking inspirational and dynamic Managers, as well as Full-time and Part-time supervisors, and sales associates, to work in the tourism industry. We are hiring for 7 different retail locations all located on Government Street. Tourism retail is a fast-paced, exciting working environment, and getting to work with customers who are on holiday is the best retail environment. Two of our stores sell First Nations art and jewelry, so if this area interests you, we can place you in either of these stores. Job Description · Provide tourists/customers with a safe and enjoyable retail environment · Handle cash, including opening and closing stores · Follow daily communication books and tasks · Keep the store clean and well presented · Re-stock shelves and maintain displays · Mainly, have fun and make sure customers have an enjoyable shopping experience Qualifications: Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced work environment Promote and follow safety protocols Compensation: · Competitive compensation based on experience Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: Casual dress Extended health care Flexible schedule Store discount Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Holidays Night shift Weekends Experience: sales: 1 year (preferred) customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work remotely: no
